Every MyFrame artwork is released in one of three kinds of edition. The edition type tells you how many prints will ever exist, how yours is numbered, and how rare it is. Here is what each one means.
A fixed number of prints is released — for example 20. Each print is numbered in the order it sells, so the first buyer receives 1/20, the next 2/20, and so on up to 20/20. When the run is complete it is never printed again, and the edition is permanently closed. The lower the total, the rarer the print.
Only one print of the artwork will ever be produced. It is numbered 1/1 and belongs to a single owner. Once it is sold, the work is no longer available — there is no second copy, at any size or price.
There is no fixed limit. Prints are produced on demand for as long as the artist keeps the work available, and each one is identical in quality and materials. Nothing is numbered because there is no run to count against — you are simply buying the work, not a slice of a scarce set.
Numbered and unique editions ship with a numbered certificate of authenticity that matches your print, with an NFC tag for verification. The edition number assigned to your purchase is final and is recorded on your certificate and in your account.
